The YMCA of San Francisco is a mission driven, donor-supported not-for-profit organization committed to serving
the diverse communities of the Greater Bay Area. We build strong kids, strong families and strong communities in
Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo and Solano counties. Every year, our 15
branches serve
more than 125,000 people of
all ages.
Our community-based service organization is dedicated to enlivening each individual's spirit, mind and
body with programs unique to each community that we serve. Emphasizing education, health and
recreation, the YMCA serves men, women and children of all ages, religions, ages and abilities, with a
focus on youth.
The Point Bonita branch is an Environmental Education and
Conference Center, serving more than 10,000 annual visitors from all over California and beyond. Our spectacular setting in the Marin Headlands, on a
peninsula overlooking the entrance to the San Francisco Bay, as well as the diverse and community-minded
staff, volunteers, and program participants we attract make this a great place to work, live and learn.
Each year, we offer more than 100,000 hours of Outdoor Education Programs. To learn about our naturalists, click here:
