2008 Summer Day Camps

Our Summer Day Camp is an adventure to be remembered for years to come! Each weekly session happens outdoors for cooperative games, physical challenges, adventure skills, and environmental studies. We emphasize our personal effect upon our environment and teach skills and tools to become stewards of the environment in home communities. In each session, naturalists lead campers in hikes, challenges and games at and around our stunning site at the mouth of the San Francisco Bay.  All groups spend the night on Thursdays at our site. We offer programming in partnership with the Presidio Community YMCA -- all programs happen at the YMCA Point Bonita but shuttle buses can bring campers from the Presidio in San Francisco out to the Headlands and back across the Golden Gate at the end of the day.

The YMCA of San Francisco also offers a residential camp all summer long in San Mateo County at Camp Jones Gulch.
